Lombok one of tourism destination in Indonesia just 30 minute by air plane from Bali or ane and half haur by Catamaran or Gili Cat from Padangbay barbour (Bali) to Teluk Kodek harbour (Lombok) and about 3 haurs from Singapore by Silk Air.
Lombok is devided three Kabupaten and one Kota Madya. Which are West Lombok (Capital Gerung), Central Lombok (Capital Praya), East Lombok (Capital Selong), Kota Madya (Capital Mataram), Mataram is also the administrative capital of West Nusa Tenggara Province.
Lombok is one of mine island of the province of West Nusa Tenggara which is situated half way along the archipelago. Immediality to the west of Lombok is Bali. While to the east is Sumbawa the other mine island of West Nusa Tenggara. Lombok 8° south of the equator and stretches 95 km north to south and about 85 km east to west.
There is many small island in Lombok is called Gili, some of them is very popular island such as Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, Gili Air, Gili Nanggu and etc.
